Songwriters at Play featuring Fort Vine

Fort Vine is an indie-folk-rock band named after a secret tree fort in Manhattan, built by songwriting duo, Trevor Tunison and Nyna Nelson (pictured above). Fort Vine is currently touring the USA as a trio with lead guitarist and third-part-harmony vocalist, Kenny Johnson. Their feel-good music embraces every audience with open arms as their strong harmonies resonate with meaningful poetry and happy grooves. Fort Vine has been named one of NYC's best unsigned bands by the New York Observer. Their single, Key to Love, was featured in Origins: Transworld Snowboarding film and Apple's Solar Eclipse campaign on Instagram. Their first album, One in the Same, was voted to be pressed to vinyl by Feedbands' subscribers and distributed world-wide. Their new album, Stay Magical, garnered over 30,000 plays on Spotify within the first week of its release.

Showcase runs 6:00-8:30pm at Branch Street Deli, 203 E Branch St., Arroyo Grande. (805) 489-9099. The showcase includes one featured act, playing a 45-minute set to close out the show, and others playing 4-song sets. We pass the tip jar during the featured set, otherwise no cover.
